Hello Everyone,

  Myself Abhishek Singh, doing B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering.I have applied for Microsoft Student Associates 2014. So allow  me to share the impact of Microsoft in my life. Since I started learning Computer Science  from the School time I  heard only one tycoon in the field of Operating System which was "Microsoft". It has so much impact in the field of technology that some people even don't  know other names of operating system except Windows. Same was the situation with me  also when I was in my School Education. But soon I came to know about other areas of Microsoft which it deals with.

At present the situation is that the passion of using new Microsoft products made me to purchase new laptop as every product was not compatible with my old one.Now my working tools comprise of 90% of Microsoft Products viz. Microsoft Windows 8.1(obvious), Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010,Microsoft SQL Server 2012, One Drive, Skype, Windows Mail etc. Also my experience of using operating systems contains MS DOS, Windows 2000,Windows XP ,Win Vista, Win 7, Win 8 and Win 8.1.In mean time I keep visiting the official website of Microsoft and its news center. The company has done so much evolutions in the field of Education by launching different free learning websites for the students, certification exams for different areas and also provided many facilities for the passionate people of different professions. So, I just keep benefiting myself with these opportunities.

Being an MSA, first of all I would  try to eradicate the false thought of people about Microsoft that its products are costly. I would rather make them aware of freely available products to use. As the company is emphasizing on Cloud technology it is good to adopt the new product Microsoft Azure in everyone's own working area.So I would work for it and also I would make available the information about  online  learning materials in the access of maximum number of students.

This word "Microsoft" began impact on my life from childhood in a different ways. Microsoft was the synonym of computer to me. 

When I was in 5th class I start with Microsoft paint to learn how to draw in a much raptive way then  , Notepad to, to Microsoft Excel , Microsoft PowerPoint , Microsoft Word –are the arrows in quiver for me. Making movies using  Window’s Movie Maker , listening songs and watching movies  using Window’s Media Player is a great fun.

Basically the motive  behind organizing such programs like MSA, MSP etc is to make aware and update each section of society about the newly available products and technologies.So I would work for it with the synchronization of Microsoft by making use of Social Networking sites, camps etc. For the massive spreading of information I would work with college management and the authority of local campuses so that both faculties and students get introduced and benefited with the initiatives.
